Well, Independence Day has already come and past and what is even more amazing is that this was Ben's second 4th of July. Unfortunately, duty called and I had to work that evening. Luckily for me, Kim and Ben stopped by the airport after having dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. The three of us were able to watch what seemed like every fireworks display in the city of Omaha from the 6th floor of the parking garage at the airport. It offers a nice 360 degree view for the night of the 4th. Here are some photos from that day. Click on the image for a larger version, if you want.
Ben tried watermelon for the first time at Grandma's and loved it. What better side to go with his macaroni and cheese?
Some of the fireworks were a little too loud for Ben's liking and he had to dive for cover.
